The lodge is surrounded by beautiful wilderness — and with nature comes critters. We work hard to keep them out of the house, but occasionally they still find their way inside.
Mice
- There are mouse traps inside and around the perimeter of the lodge.
- If you find a dead mouse, please do not throw it outside. The bait can poison other wildlife.
- Simply place the mouse in the garbage.
Lizards
- Lizards sometimes slip indoors, especially during colder months.
- If you’re able to safely capture one, please release it outside.
Bats
- Bats very rarely enter the lodge and are difficult to catch.
- If you believe a bat may have bitten you, please seek medical attention immediately.
